Getting to McGaheysville, Virginia
We recommend flying into Richmond International Airport, RCA; or Dulles International Airport, DCA and renting a car to reach McGaheysville.
Another option is to fly to Charlottesville Airport, CHO. However please keep in mind that the flights are sparse, and often not reliable!

Staying at McGaheysville, Virginia
If you are going to stay the night, we recommend using our hotel block at the Massanutten Resort, which is just 10 minutes away!
If you prefer to stay somewhere else, you may want to look at couple options we selected in Harrisonburg.
Getting to Istanbul, Turkey
We recommend flying into Istanbul International Airport (IST), or Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW). (IST) is the major airport, however is farther away from the city. From the airport, we recommend getting a taxi to your destination if you are unfamiliar with the city.
Once you are in the city, you can travel to the wedding venue via your car. There will be paid parking available at the venue for 300 TL ($6.5) during the event. Alternatively, you can take a cab directly to the venue, or the bus/ferry to the "Kanlica" station, and have a short walk (4 min) from there to the venue. Cats are friendly, and plenty in Istanbul, so please give some pets to some for our cat Justice who will be "patiently" waiting for us in the US.

After the wedding, you can take the bus, ferry, and taxi back again. Note that ferry hours might be more limited than the bus schedule. We recommend checking the schedule ahead of time via Google Maps. Regardless, there is also a taxi stop in front of the transit stops, so you will have plenty of options!
Staying at Istanbul, Turkey
If you are going to stay the night, we recommend the Aija Hotel which is very close to the venue, though we warn that it is pricey.
If you prefer to stay at more touristic locations within the city we marked couple options we recommend. If you prefer stay closer to us, we have marked couple options in the Asian side of Istanbul. that you might enjoy. You will see that there are no shortage of good hotels in the city!
